CopyCat PF Changs Mongolian Sauce

The perfect sauce to be added to a stir fry, meatballs, or for dipping.

Ingredients
  

PF Changs Copycat Mongolian Sauce

  • 4 tsp Sesame Oil
  • tsp Ground Ginger
  • 4 Cloves Garlic minced
  • ½ Cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
  • Cup Water
  • 1⅓ Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 4 Sprigs Green Onion Chopped

Cornstarch Slurry

  • 3 Tbsp Cold Water
  • 2 Tbsp Cornstarch

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients except Cornstarch Slurry in saucepan over medium heat.
  • Simmer while stirring occasionally, 20 minutes.
  • Mix Cornstarch Slurry.
  • Stir Cornstarch Slurry in saucepan and continue to stir until mixture is warm.
  • Top your favorite dish with sauce and then sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions.

Notes

  • The full meatball recipe is here.  
  • If using frozen meatballs, add them to saucepan so they are warming during the cooking process.  
  • Use this to top any stir fry or as a dip.
  • If serving for a party or tailgate, place in crockpot to keep warm.
