I love spinach dip. There are a couple of places we frequent for dinner that I will actually order this for my meal. Yes, this gown adult often eats like a child. It does have spinach in it! I feel like I am at least getting a bit of a green vegetable out of it.

As you will get to know, I love taking a different twist on many of your every day go to’s. This dip is one of them. I use my Copycat Ruths Chris Ranch Dressing for this dip. A little of that and a variety of cheese, a little pepper and onion and sheer perfection!
I do add quite a bit of spinach to mine. Like I said, I love that I am getting a green veg, especially when it doesn’t taste like it! This lends this one to be a bit thicker than most. As such, I would recommend using a thicker chip for this one. This is also perfect with pitas, crackers, crudites….anything that has a bit of girth and can hold up to this amazing dip.
Want to make it a Main? Add this to a little pasta and grilled chicken. Add this to an omellete. Instead of broccoli cheese rice, use this with a little rice for the perfect casserole, add a little more cheese to the top. Mix with your baked potato for your twice baked potato.
Once you try this, you will understand. It’s absolutely the perfect dip for your next get together but the flavor is one that you will want to enjoy again and again.

Hot Spinach Ranch Dip
Ingredients
- 12 oz Frozen Spinach
- ½ Cup CopyCat Ruths Chris Ranch Dressing follow link to recipe
- 4 oz Cream Cheese room temp
- 1 Cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese grated
- 1 Cup Gruyere Cheese grated
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- ¼ Cup Onion chopped
- 1-2 Jalapeno Peppers chopped
- ⅛ tsp Smoked Paprika
- ⅛ tsp Cayenne or to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a mixing bowl, combine spinach, ranch dressing, cheeses, salt, pepper, cayenne, paprika, and jalapeno.
- Saute onion in skillet until translucent.
- Add onion to bowl and stir to combine.
- Put dip in baking dish and bake for 30-40 minutes. Oven times vary, check at the 30 minute mark. You will want the dip to be bubbling and browning on the outer edges.
