Oh summer, where do the days go. I can hardly believe that the season is so close to winding down. It seems like just yesterday that I started my little basil plants that have morphed into the enormous bounty they are now. There are so many dishes to use them in.
If you are like me, then the summer months are spent growing all sorts of herbs and veggies. Basil is one of my favorite to grow. I end up with an abundance of basil. Typically I end up drying much of it or adding it to one dish or another. But when you add it to Aioli….heaven! It’s absolute AMAZING.
Aioli is one of my favorite dips/sandwich/burger toppings. Serve it with fries! Delish! This is the one I use on my Ultimate BLT, but I also use it for a dip at parties. It’s probably one of the easiest aiolis you will ever make. My family loves this one. Be sure and use fresh basil and lemon juice for this one.
I will come back once the weather cooperates and post a better image for y’all. It’s been a super grey week here. Makes it very hard to get good lighting, especially when the lights don’t want to cooperate!

I hope that you enjoy this one. If you do make it, be sure and post a picture send me a link. Thank you for stopping by. Be sure and let me know how it turned out. Feel free to reach out with any questions. The contact form is at the bottom of the page. I look forward to hearing from you all.
