Killer Coney Sauce

Ingredients
  

Killer Coney Sauce

  • 1 lb Ground Hamburger 85/15
  • ½ Cup Hot Water
  • ½ Cup Warm Beer I use a pale ale for this one.
  • 1 Medium Sweet Onion finely chopped
  • 4 Tbsps Yellow Mustard
  • 2 Tbsps Dijon Mustard
  • 2 Tbsps Grainy Mustard
  • 3 Tbsps Sugar
  • 3 Tbsps Chili Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Celery Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Cup Ketchup
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsps Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet comine water and hamburger and stir until smooth.
  • Add remaining ingredients and simmer. Stirring frequently to prevent burning.
  • Sauce will thicken as it cooks.
  • If you need to thin this one out, add extra beer.

Notes

If you are cooking yours longer and gets dry, add more beer.  Continue to cook.  You cannot go wrong with this.
